Trondheim Airport has a main passenger terminal divided into Terminal A and Terminal B. While Terminal A host domestic and regional flights, Terminal B is for international flights. The main terminal also counts with three runways.

Terminal A is split into two levels:

- Ground level: The Arrivals level
- Upper level: The Departures level

And Terminal B has a single level for both Arrivals and Departures.

About Trondheim

Trondheim is a city within the Sor-Trondelag county and the third largest in Norway. It is located on the south coast of Trondheim Fjord. The city was founded in 997 and then it became the capital of Norway during the Viking Age till 1217. Even though Trondheim is a large city, wild animals can be seen in the wetland habitats. Otters, birds, beavers, foxes, badgers, moose and deer can be seen in the hills surrounding the city. While your visit in Trondheim you shouldn’t miss the Kristiansten Fortress located in a hill at the east of Trondheim. In the city’s central square there is the statue of Olav Tryggvason, the founder of the city. The islet Munkholmen it is also a nice place to visit. You can take a walk, since there is an important vestige of WWII. About architecture, the Nidaros Cathedral it is located in the central part of the city. It used to be an important Christian pilgrimage site during the Middle Ages and also the second largest medieval cathedral in Scandinavia.
